This is not a modern blog...

...but here's some kind of update.

Ok, so what's going on?
Is it only this moment, or is Royksopp really gonna bring understanding this time around?
Something sure is that Pigeon & Cream of Addis Black Widow make me happy happy and that Gildas & Masaya of Kitsuné possess high skills on building up DJ sets. I'm also quite sure that I care about Mu as much as I care about the real Paris Hilton.

Ok, so what's been going on?
School's over, and I might have finished my academic career with a 5-minute speech about Tokyo Disney Land (don't ask). A while ago I was published in a book for the first time. Oh well, it was just one review of 100 making up the, in most cases entertaining and in some cases educating, Digfi:Mix, a book listing the 100 best albums of the 00's. Tor Billgren of Jet Set Junta made a very encouraging speech about the glorious life of a freelance journalist. MeroMero was awarded "best sound appearance" at this year's award ceremony for the college radio station where it's been broadcasted. After experiencing Kitsuné playing Black Strobe's Italian Fireflies I realised that there just can't be a better floorfiller than Alter Ego's Rocker. Mylo told me he's very much into Play Paul's stuff. Play Paul told me that he's in love with Human After All.

Food : I've been into making Donburi lately. So far I've basically focused on Oyakodon and trying to make something that ressembles the real Japanese Gyudon. Donburi is a family of dishes made up of rice in a bowl covered with ognion and different kinds of meat which you simmer in a mixture of soy sauce, mirin, sake and dashi. Then you top it all with a raw egg. As long as you have mirin, sake and dashi it's very easy. Google it and you'll find recipes in English.

Ok, so what's gonna be going on?
June 9. Play Paul and Lo-Fi-Fnk Live.
June 17. Me and Kris of Panache team up as the unstopable DJ collective with the cool-not-cool name Shibuya Hustle. It happens at the beloved meatmarket for Malmoe's indie crowd, Crush! We'll spin french house, old soul, electro, 80's hits and maybe some euro.
June 21-27. Paris.
June 30-July 3. Roskilde Festival. Which means Junior Senior, Alter Ego, Autechre, Kano, Duran Duran, Snoop Dogg, Armand Van Helden, Mylo and Green Day. But please, Roskilde, why don't you book any good female artists?
